What Is a Discovery Consultation?

A tour, a conversation, and zero pressure

The Discovery Consultation is a free 60-minute visit designed to help you decide if Texas Family Birth & Wellness is the right fit for your family — before you commit to anything.

You'll see the birth center in person, walk through both private birth suites (including the hydrotherapy tubs), meet Kristen and whoever else is in the office, and have real time to ask the questions that matter to you.

There's no exam, no intake paperwork, and no sales pitch. If TFBW feels like home, we'll talk about next steps. If it doesn't, that's okay too.

We believe the relationship between a family and their midwife has to feel right — and the only way to know that is to come in and see for yourself.

That's exactly what the consultation is for. Kristen will review your health history and give you an honest answer about candidacy. If birth center care isn't right for your situation, she'll tell you — and help point you in the right direction.
Just yourself — and your questions. If you have previous medical records or a history of complications, it can be helpful to bring those, but they're not required for the Discovery Consultation.
