Collin County is one of the fastest-growing regions in Texas. Prosper, Celina, McKinney, Frisco, and Allen are home to thousands of young families — and for years, those families had to travel to find birth center care or settle for the hospital model as their only option.
Kristen Parks, APRN-CNM, founded Texas Family Birth & Wellness to change that. As a CNM who trained at Frontier Nursing University and practiced at Craig Ranch OBGYN and Parkland Hospital, she saw firsthand what families were missing — and she built the birth center she knew North Texas needed.
